This Privacy Policy explains how Saleweft ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit saleweft.com ("the website"), join our waitlist, or use the Saleweft service (collectively, "the Service").

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Email address. Collected when you join our waitlist or contact us.
• Name. Only if you choose to include it in correspondence.
• Message content. Anything you write to us via email or contact forms.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Click data. When you click a tracking link associated with the Service, we record the click time, the link identifier, and a coarse referrer. No IP address is stored long-term.
• Server logs. Standard hosting logs (timestamp, page requested, user-agent string) retained by our hosting provider for a short window for security and debugging purposes.

1.3 What we do not collect

• We do not use third-party advertising trackers or analytics scripts.
• We do not collect payment information; we do not currently sell anything on this website.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiries.
• To notify you when Saleweft opens early access (if you joined the waitlist).
• To measure interest in features and improve the Service.
• To detect and prevent abuse of our infrastructure.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website does not currently set any cookies. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or cross-site tracking technologies. If we add functionality that requires cookies in the future (for example, a logged-in account area), we will update this policy and limit cookies to those that are strictly necessary.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of vendors to operate the Service. Each vendor processes only the limited data necessary for its role, under contractual safeguards. We do not share data with any other third parties.

• Hosting and DNS provider. Serves the website and resolves traffic to our domains.
• Transactional email provider. Delivers waitlist confirmations and replies to your enquiries.
• Email storage provider. Receives and stores correspondence sent to our contact addresses.

We can disclose the identities of these specific service providers, along with their privacy policies, on written request to hello@saleweft.com.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above:

• Waitlist email addresses are kept until you ask to be removed, or until the waitlist is closed.
• Email correspondence is retained in our mailbox for up to two years, then archived.
• Click data is retained in aggregate for analytics purposes; raw individual click records are deleted after 90 days.

6. Your rights

You may, at any time:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Ask us to delete your information.
• Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Department of Malaysia (PDP) if you believe we have mishandled your data.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to safeguard your data: HTTPS-only connections, encrypted secret storage, and access restricted to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever suffer a breach affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware.

8. International transfers

Our service providers operate global infrastructure, so your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside Malaysia. We rely on the standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards published by these providers.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email to anyone who has joined the waitlist or otherwise contacted us.
